The high rates of antiretroviral success and the increasingly healthy, although aging, HIV population, have led to the development of new strategies for providing ongoing HIV care. These changes in the provision of care have been accelerated through need.

Implementation Science & Innovations in HIV Care 2022 will bring together all those who are involved in the implementation of novel strategies to improve the health care for people living with HIV resulting in an improved quality of life. By discussing the barriers but also the challenges together, we aim at more successful implementation of innovations.

Hosted by Virology Education and chaired by Mark Nelson (Chelsea and Westminster Hospital/Imperial College Medical School, United Kingdom), this meeting will feature a host of international speakers, discussing:

  • Implementation science – what does it mean?
  • Implementation of novel ways for testing and monitoring
  • Implementation of novel drug delivery formulations

This meeting will take place virtually on December 12, 2022. For more information and to register, visit: https://academicmedicaleducation.com/meeting/implementation-science-innovations-hiv-care-2022
