Dr. Marie-Louise Vachon is a researcher of infectious and immune diseases at the Centre hospitalier de l’Univerité Laval. She is also a physician, specializing in microbiology and infectious diseases, at the CHU de Québec.

Dr. Vachon completed her college diploma in a health sciences program at Granby CEGEP. She then earned her doctor in medicine diploma from the University of Sherbrooke in 2002, and completed her master’s degree in clinicical research at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University, and obtained an infectious diseases specialist diploma at the Collège des médecins du Québec.

Dr. Vachon is a co-investigator for CTN 222: The Canadian Co-Infection Cohort study, which is following a group of HIV and hepatitis C co-infected individuals from 17 centres across Canada.
