Dr. Jessica Prodger is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Global Health Systems Master’s program at Western University, and holds a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Genital Immunology and STI Prevention.

She received her PhD from the University of Toronto and completed Postdoctoral Fellowships at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and at the Laboratory for Immunoregulation at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Prodger is a longstanding research collaborator at the Rakai Health Sciences Program in Uganda, and through this collaboration, her research aims to increase inclusion of people living with HIV in sub-Saharan Africa in biomedical HIV research, to ensure that the unique features of all populations affected by HIV are considered in development of a cure.
