She earned her medical degree from the Université de Sherbrooke and completed a residency in psychiatry at McGill University.
Dr. Brouillette’s research focuses on psychiatric care of patients living with HIV and those undergoing treatment for hepatitis C. Her work is concerned with the regulation of cognition and mood.
Dr. Brouillette has led three CTN studies in the Clinical Management Sciences Core. These include CTNPT 005, which is measuring cognitive decline in HIV patients, CTNPT 015, which aimed to describe the clinical characteristics and cognitive change over time of HIV-positive individuals assessed for cognitive difficulties, and CTN 273, which is seeking to understand the biological, psychological, and social factors that affect brain health and quality of life. She is serving as co-investigator for CTN 286: TriAdd Study.
